Life's Journey Recovery House located in Levittown, Bucks County has grown over 100% in the last year. Since we created the 3 phase system, guys have been making more progress and staying longer. The unity of the program is unmatched by any other house in the area. John Mulvenna our Operations Director claims "We believe in having a structured environment but at the same time we want to have fun. We have a recovery league softball team, a deck hockey team, picnics, sober dances and we participate in community events. Oh yeah and two houses with pools for the summer." Right now there are so many job opportunities in the area. The most common fear that clients experience in the transition from treatment to Levittown is finding a job. The minute the client walks in the door a thorough intake is done and a list of 12 staffing agencies are given to the client. We have a growing relationship with all of them. At the moment less than 10% of our program is unemployed and seeking work.
Fellowship and brotherhood is the foundation to building a solid foundation in recovery.
